A darker side of the story, where the sun shines so brightly, gives the glimmer of hope and then death falls upon us. The curse of the Irish sometimes wasn't a pretty side, as drought starved so many, and religious beliefs continued to bring desolate darkness, loss and unrelenting death. Not all was lost though, as a few fought through and made the Irish all they can be today. So even though this kit captures the darker side, I can say I'm proud to have some Irish in me. ©Gothic Inspirations
