Let’s get started

Open up the kit by Dianna called Witch Doctor and have ready.

Download and save your masks into your mask folder before opening Corel Paint Shop.

Now open Corel.

Create a new 750x750 new raster layer. Flood fill white for now.

Open up paper DCD_Paper08 in PSP and create a new raster layer. Flood fill with this paper. Load your mask Mask%20010 with these settings:

Now right click and merge group.

Open up paper DCD_Paper10. Create a new raster layer above your mask you just created, and flood fill with this paper. Load mask Mask_09_Yarrow with these settings:

Now right click and merge group.

Now open up the supplies from the kit. Copy and paste a frame of choice from the kit as a new layer. I used: DCD_Ivy Frame02. Add a drop shadow.

Now copy and paste a tube of choics as a new layer. I used a Michael Calandra tube called Mountain of Skulls.

Drag this layer beneath your frame layer. See mine to reference. Now top tool bar-Image-Mirror. Add a drop shadow.

Now open any additional elements you might like to use from the kit. I used:

DCD_Bones, resized by 20% and positioned to the left of the tag.

DCD_Potion1, paste as a new layer, resize by 40%, and use your pick tool to rotate it at the bottom of the frame, see mine to reference.

DCD_Snake01, paste as a new layer, resize by 30%. Drag this layer above your frame layer on the bottom right, position to where it could look like it’s wrapped around the frame. Duplicate this layer and drag it beneath your frame layer. Click on the top snake layer (the one above the frame) to make active. Use your free hand selection tool (hidden usually under pick tool), and encircle the part of the snake you would like to have hidden. Hit delete on your keyboard.

Now deactive.

*Tip to deactivate, Click the Top Tool Bar-Selection-Select None.

DCD_Grass 2, paste as a new layer, resize by 75%. Move above the tube layer, with the edge hidden under the frame layer. Use your pick tool to drag in the edges if needed, as you don’t want any sticking out.

Copy and paste any additional greenery you might like.

I used several of the ferns.

DCD_Palm 2, Copy and paste as a new layer. Make sure to drag this layer beneath all your other layers except your mask layers, so you should have the tree above the mask.

DCD_Panel 2, resize by 60%, and drag this layer above the tree layer but beneath your tube layer. See mine to reference.

DCD_Staff02, resize by 60%. Drag this layer above your frame layer, to the right. I colorized the blue to orange in the skulls eyes.

*Tip, to colorize, use your pick tool, click inside the blue on the staff/skull, holding down the shift button as you right click to select more than one spot. Leave Active. Top tool bar-Adjust-Hue & Saturation-Colorize-with settings

Hue: 20 Saturation: 116. Hit Ok. Now deselect. Duplicate this layer and resize by another 60% and move this staff down beneath the tube layer but above the panel layer to the right of the panel. See mine to reference.

Add any additional elements you prefer. I used DCD_Voodoo1, with the staff that I used above duplicated twice and resized by 20% to pin the doll to the frame.

Now add your name I used: WaterBrushROB, Size 150, Stroke width 3, Foreground  color code: transparent/Null and Background color code: black.

Add a gradient glow if you prefer. I used settings under Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow-Glow Width 12.4, Color Settings-Medium-Color code #d46a30 -Ok. Now add a drop shadow if you like.

Make sure this layer is above your frame layer. See mine to reference.

Now add your copyright and watermark.

Crop your tag to each edge to get rid of any extra jaggies.

Save as a JPG or PNG (transparent, but hide your bottom white layer), and you are done! Resize the taggie to your preference.
